Google is launching its own AI-powered chatbot to rival Microsoft’s ChatGPT, which mimics human writing on demand

ChatGPT (and its counterpart Jasper Chat) has taken the tech world by storm since its launch in November.

Its incredibly detailed and realistic AI-based conversations have wowed many users. It can pass exams, write essays and articles, write poems, and even code.

Google in response is now entering the market with its own AI-powered chatbot, called Bard. According to Google:

Bard seeks to combine the breadth of the world’s knowledge with the power, intelligence, and creativity of our large language models. It draws on information from the web to provide fresh, high-quality responses

ChatGPT threatens to undermine the entire business model.

Google controls more than 90% of the world’s searches while Microsoft’s Bing holds only about 3%.

Microsoft would love a bit more of this pie!

With chatGPT expected to be integrated with Bing google has reason to worry that its position will be weakened.

Google’s response to this has been the launch of Bard which like chatGPT is built on large language models.

The chatbot draws on information from the web and provides high-quality responses to user queries.

Google promises that Bard will be able to keep up with the growing demand for conversational AI, as well as providing a more secure alternative to chatGPT.

Bard is based on a language model called LaMDA and is rumored to be more human-like than other models.

We still don’t know how Bard is or will be but one thing is for sure the stage is set for the AI-powered chatbot battle of the century.

With both Google and Microsoft competing for the top spot, we can expect the competition to be fierce.

Only time will tell who will come out on top and dominate the AI-powered chatbot market.

It’s definitely an exciting time for the tech industry and AI-powered chatbots are leading the way.

The future looks bright, at least as far as AI is concerned!
